This Series is a personal invitation for the viewer to explore the artist’s interpretation of gender and how visual cues associated with specific genders can be redefined. Through interviews with various individuals, unique insights into their perspectives on gender in today’s society were gained. When discussing femininity, themes such as florals and vibrant colors stood out, while masculinity was associated with deeper colors, rugged exteriors, and woodsy elements. This collection aims to challenge the viewer to appreciate the beauty of expressing all facets of the human gender spectrum and understand how it can enhance their lives by redefining something traditionally masculine as feminine, and vice versa.
